Mass Communications “Media Speaker Series”
Join us on Monday, 7th of Feb at 1 pm in Building K-Theater to hear Tom Calhoun, renowned radio announcer and sports commentator, tell his stories from 40 years in broadcasting. Tom Calhoun has been the Public Address Announcer at St. Louis Blues hockey games since 1987 and the PA voice of the Gateway Grizzlies baseball club since 2003. His voice is prominent in regional and national commercials and industrial videos. He was inducted to the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame in 2020. Tom holds an MA in communications from Lindenwood University and currently teaches mass communications at Southwestern Illinois College.
