Value
Future Leaders scholarship

Future Leaders scholarship is awarded to outstanding individuals and ranges from 50% to 100% of tuition fees. The decision will be based on a review by the Vice Chairman for Commercial and Operations, who will assess the promotional value and positive impact the student's enrolment can bring to the institution. These scholarships will be highly competitive, with an estimated 1-2 awards granted annually. Recipients of the Future Leaders scholarship will not be eligible for any other scholarship or discount

Sports scholarship

Sports scholarships are awarded to outstanding athletes and ranges from 50% to 100% of tuition fees. The decision will be based on a review by the Vice Chairman for Commercial and Operations, who will assess the promotional value and positive impact the student’s sporting abilities can bring to the institution. These scholarships will be highly competitive, with an estimated 1-2 awards granted annually. Recipients of sports scholarships will not be eligible for any other scholarship or discount.

Sibling discount

Students with siblings already enrolled at UH-GAF will be eligible for a 10% tuition fee discount in addition to the standard scholarship and discounts. This initiative is designed to support families who send multiple children to the institution. It is expected that this will be very low numbers (1-2 per year), but is a popular branding tool amongst parents. This discount would be eligible alongside other scholarships and discounts.

Scholarship Terms & Conditions
Merit Scholarship

50% scholarship for highly distinguished Students, and to be maintained with a minimum cum GPA of 4.25.

Selection for the scholarship is based on the following:

  1. Top 50 students in Thanawiya amma nationwide.
  2. IB Diploma with score of 37 and more (for Business, Mass Communications, and Engineering only)
  3. French Baccalaureate. with score of 18 and more (for Business and Mass communications and Engineering only)
  4. IGCSE with score 100%
  5. Abitur with score 1.0 to 2

First/Second/Third ranking in International Tournaments: 50% scholarship- applied for individual and teams’ sports (only an additional 10% early bird discount may be added).

Merit scholarship is to be deducted effective the second semester.

Merit Scholarship Scheme at the End of the Academic Year

  1. Students who are admitted to the university and were awarded merit scholarship may maintain the scholarship if they completed 120 credit hrs. and achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 4.0/4.5 after the academic year according to the table below
  2. Students who are admitted without the merit scholarship may be awarded scholarship if they completed 120 credit hrs. and achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 4.0/4.5 after the academic year according to the table below.
  3. Scholarships will be reviewed on a yearly basis and may be awarded to high achievers based on the table below.
  4. Scholarships will not be considered for part-time students or those who completed less than 120 credits during the academic year.

Early Bird Grant
  • To reserve a place in the coming semester, provisionally accepted students may pay a nonrefundable 30,000 EGP, which will grant them a deduction of 10% from the first year’s annual fees. The deduction is valid for one year only.
  • The early bird scholarship is not included in the scholarship ceiling.
  • The percentage of any other scholarships and discounts will be deducted from the remaining tuition fees after applying a categories scheme.
  • In case of no Academic Merit Scholarship, all other discounts or other scholarships will be applied on the standard tuition fees.
  • For international students who pay in foreign currency, a discount amounting to 2,000 GBP is granted to them. International students ARE NOT subject to Merit scholarship.
STEM Scholarship

STEM Scholarship is awarded similar to the above-mentioned criteria, However, the STEM average is equated by the Thanawya Amma score after adding 10% on the total final average.

Scholarships Faculty and staff siblings
  • Currently faculty and staff siblings are granted 20% discount of the required fee after the deduction of all other scholarships for the whole period of study.
  • Maximum number of siblings is three.
  • 45% is the ceiling for the maximum scholarship.
Sporting Excellence Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to students who have a sporting excellence certificate during their enrollment in the university. The certificate must be updated yearly and stamped by the Ministry of Education or Sports and Youth Ministry.

Students must submit official documents statin stamped from:

  1. اللجنه االوليمبيه / او المجلس االعلى للشباب و الرياضة
  2. First/Second/Third ranking in International Tournaments: 50% scholarship- applied for individual and teams’ sports (only an additional 10% early bird discount may be added).
  3. First/Second/Third ranking in National Tournaments: 1st place: 20%, 2nd place 15 % and 3rd place 10% (applied for individual and teams’ sports)
  4. First/Second/Third ranking in International Tournaments: 50% scholarship- applied for individual and teams’ sports (only an additional 10% early bird discount may be added).
Siblings Scholarship
  • Second/Third son or daughter will get 10% scholarship provided that both siblings are enrolled at the same time in the university.
  • In case of the withdrawal the scholarship will be cancelled from the second one.
  • Second /third siblings who have an ALUMNI (UH graduate) from UH-GAF will get 10% scholarship till the end of their studies at UH.
  • Sibling scholarship has no ceiling
Orphan Scholarship

Students who lose their fathers during their enrollment in the university will get 20% scholarship in addition to their Academic Merit Scholarship. However, in case they did not get the excellence scholarship. their orphan scholarship will be saved. Orphan scholarship will apply with no ceiling on the total scholarship awarded to whole study period.

Martyrs’ offspring

50% scholarship for the whole years for offspring of martyrs of Ministry of Interior Affairs or Military Affairs

Judiciary Members Scholarship

50% scholarship for the whole years for offspring of martyrs of Ministry of Interior Affairs or Military Affairs
