Our Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering programme is a multidisciplinary degree that provides students with a wider range of knowledge and practical skills for a dynamic and evolving field.
This degree offers a comprehensive introduction to Engineering, giving our students the flexibility to work in a broad range of industries. In this multidisciplinary degree, you will learn the fundamental skills and knowledge of a modern engineer from mechanics, thermodynamics, design, manufacturing, to materials science.
Our courses are designed to meet industry needs with accreditation from many professional bodies, including Tech Partnership and the Institute of Engineering and Technology. The students get the chance to learn mechanical engineering and mechatronics subjects in core modules that balance laboratory activities with the relevant, supportive theoretical knowledge.
The modules you will study include Biology and Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Human Physiology with Pharmacology.
Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics graduates can land jobs in multiple competitive industries; manufacturing, robotics, oil and gas, automotive and biomedical Systems are some examples.
